AUDIENT EVO 4 USB AUDIO INTERFACE
The EVO 4 presents an innovative solution for Smaart users looking for a compact 2 channel interface. Its form factor is extremely pack friendly, with only a single control knob on the interface – has very few breakable parts.
The device features 4 total inputs; 2 XLR/TRS combo inputs and 2, easy to configure, internal loopback inputs. There is no need for an external loop back cable for referencing Smaarts signal generator.
A key feature of all Audient EVO devices are their integration with Smaart (v9.1+). The phantom power and gain control for EVO preamps are controllable directly from the Smaart interface. This allows Smaart users of the EVO 4, 8, or 16 to enable ‘gain-tracking’ after calibrating their inputs for SPL. With gain tracking enabled, you can adjust the input gain of EVO preamps without losing SPL calibration. Smaart will automatically adjust the calibration to reflect the new dB offset. In tandem with the EVO Control application, all EVO input and output settings can be adjusted, and recalled, digitally.
The EVO 4 is a great choice for Smaart users who wish to perform single and dual channel measurement, with the added benefit of not needing to physically control the device – all relevant setting parameters can be accessed via the EVO control application.
