In 1995, the audio analysis options were limited to expensive hardware devices that had limited functionality compared to today’s standards. This led to the development of Smaart, a cost-effective software-based solution. However, Smaart went through several ownership changes before Rational Acoustics was founded in 2008 with a mission to enhance and support the Smaart platform. Today, Smaart is a leading brand in audio analysis, providing top-notch education and support for its users.
